Community Tournament Report April 27th

Just a local community tournament. Playing at April 27th means cards from Hidden Arsenal 7 is legal now, seeing some cards like Daigusto Emerald and even a complete deck of Evilswarm. I just play using my usual quasar deck.

Round 1 vs Tommy (Blackwing) OO

Roll a dice and got the first turn. Hand is bad but one for one and level eater could fix it by using both to special summon Symphonic Warrior Basses and tune for T.G Hyper Librarian. With help from other card i spam Synchro for draw and with luck successfully synchro summon Shooting Quasar Dragon. End turn, then enemy summon Bora and 4 Traps. My turn he destroyed my Quasar with Icarus + Compulsory Evacuation, and my Shooting Star Dragon responded by Bottomless Trap Hole that is negated by shooting star. Synchro Stardust and Scrap Dragon to clear field and win.

I side in Gorz. He start the game with Shura and 3 S/T set cards. My turn topdeck heavy storm and use it, enemy has no starlight road! usual Junk Synchron and Doppelwarrior combo to synchro summon Quasar and win.

Round 2 vs Fahry (Machina) XX

Junk Synchron is veiler'd. Using Junk gardna for defense but he exceed Shock Master, declaring monster effect. Using Scrap Dragon for beatdown but get destroyed by fortress suicide. Scoop.

Side in Gorz and Metaion. My Road Warrior is veiler'd and i can't summon any other synchro monster. Fortress suicide to destroy Road Warrior and direct with Geargigant. Gorz special summoned but again destroyed by fortress suicide. Scoop.

Round 3 vs Febby (MachinaKuri) OXO

Smoothly synchro summon Quasar with 3x attack in second turn and my opponent can't turn the table. Win

My T.G. Hyper Librarian is responded by Solemn Warning, when i don't have any card in my hands. OTK'd by Machina Fortress.

First turn another try to synchro summon Shooting Quasar but my T.G. Hyper Librarian is responded with Bottomless Trap Hole. Successfully bring quasar out but no hands. Deliver 4000 damage to opponent.  Opponent using Machina Fortress twice to destroy Quasar and BTH shooting star which i negated, but then he using dark hole! Both field is empty. He set a monster. Next two turns no tuner monster is draw-ed and he set 3 S/T. Draw spore and synchro summon Scrap Dragon to clear the field and win.

Round 4 vs Fikri (E-Hero) XX

I forget the detail but i can't summon quasar because his trap and bad opening hand and by dandylion effect is solemn warning'd -_-. Scoop for both duel.

Round 5 vs Hatta (Mermail) OO

Win against mermail? No, this is my lucky day. My opponent leave his last duel. Auto win :p

Result : 7 out of 26. 

My Current Deck : Quasar!!

I start playing Yu-Gi-Oh at 2011, start playing using fake cards since i don't want to spent much money only for learning :p trying to play with T.G deck and it was fun seeing people strategy fell into my traps :p . Seeing how fast T.G could do synchro summon, i just searching the best synchro card, and i found Shooting Quasar Dragon! But i can't synchro it with my T.G deck, so for that time i give up, and trying meta deck, and grab inzektor for my first local tournament. The result isn't too bad, but not good either. But in that tournament i found a player using junk-quickdraw-synchron to summon Shooting Quasar Dragon! Since then, i create my Quasar deck!

Seeing and reading all dueling blogs out there really make me to write this blog. Still new in world of dueling, and this blog is just for share my experience in dueling!
